Self-expression through movement has been a part of Ana’s life since she was a toddler. She grew up as a classically trained dancer and musical theatre performer, spending many summers on stage at The Muny. Ana fell in love with anatomy and fitness and she received her personal training certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine in 2009. After a hip injury from years of high-kicks sidelined her, Ana dove into her yoga practice head first where she experienced first-hand yoga’s power to heal her body and spirit. It was through this personal exploration that Ana found her passion and her calling: to help others experience the amazing transformations and personal healing facilitated by yoga, on and off the mat. In the studio, Ana strives to create a safe and positive space for her students to shatter their own self-imposed limits by finding their physical edges and focusing their minds through connecting with breath.
