We’re truly interconnected
Recently we had a cool opportunity to see our name, Yoga Six in action. While exhibiting at the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon in San Diego a man named Paul stopped by our table. He was from out of town but flew in earlier in the week to support his daughter in running the race. We had a great conversation about running and yoga and then he said, “you know, I don’t practice yoga but have heard about Yoga Six.” Music to our ears! We follow up with the obvious next question, “so, how did you hear about us?” As it turns out he’s an avid runner from St. Louis, home of our first studio, and had heard about us through the Go! St. Louis Marathon Weekend event. How cool is that? But the story gets better.
The Go! St. Louis Marathon Weekend was on April 14th & 15. The San Diego Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon took place the first weekend in June. Our studio in St. Louis didn’t open until June 11th. So Paul had heard about us months ago but didn’t connect with us until he was 2000 miles from his home town.
A few weeks later in St. Louis who do we see again? Paul! He’s decided to give yoga a chance and enrolled in our Y6 Ignite program. He’s half way though the 6 class series. We’ll check in with Paul when he’s finished and let you know how things turned out for him. We think he’ll stick with it!
