We asked Marla Ben-Dor of Wellness with Marla for a healthy, on-the-go recipe to keep you nourished during the February Challenge – she suggested her Green Protein Energy Bites!
1.In a Cuisinart or high speed blender process nuts until very crumbly, add in pitted dates, nut butter, coconut oil and protein powder until the mixture comes together like a “dough”
2. Add remaining optional add-ins (dried fruit, shredded coconut, chocolate etc.
3. Remove from container and roll into balls
(Makes about 12-15 bite size balls. Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.)
