Dear Loyal Essential Hot Yoga Students,

I have some very EXCITING news to share with you. We are rebranding our studios and effective immediately, Essential Hot Yoga is now YogaSix!

We have an amazing yoga community in Idaho and Y6 recognized the quality of yoga instruction we offer and the great community we’ve built at EHY. I am very proud to be a part of this yoga family and I will continue to own and operate the studios under the Y6 brand.

While you will see some changes as a result of this partnership, you can be confident that what will NOT change is the culture that we have cultivated at EHY over the past 9 years. You can continue to expect high-quality instruction, a clean, welcoming and non-competitive environment, and a supportive community. This new partnership has been formed with our teacher team and you, our students, in mind.

What You Can Expect

• Studio Improvements Our studios will receive a facelift over the next few months – new signage, fresh paint, new equipment, new flooring, etc. Our goal is to minimize disruption to our class schedule so these improvements will be phased in over time. The new studio construction in Garden City is well underway and is scheduled for the grand re-opening in late summer (grand opening date TBD).

• Core Classes and New Classes We will offer the same classes, but under different names. The EHY teacher team that you know and love will continue to lead classes as Y6 instructors. Additionally, we will eventually add a variety of new classes, both heated and non-heated. In other words, more classes…more options!

• Nationwide Access As part of the Y6 family, you will not only continue to enjoy the same benefits as a student and continue to access all 5 studios in Boise, Garden City, Meridian and Nampa, but you will also have access to the hundreds of Y6 studios that will be opening up across the country over the next several months.

Many of you will have questions and I will do my best to answer each of them. A Q&A section has been provided below for your reference. I will continue to communicate regularly and often about any upcoming changes. As with any change, there may be some unexpected hiccups along the way. I ask that you please be patient with us while we move through this transition.

On behalf of the new Y6 crew, THANK YOU for your support and loyalty over the past 9 years. We are so excited to embark on this next chapter of our yoga journey and we look forward to serving you over the next 90!

With Gratitude,

Brandy Mamizuka

Q&AWill Y6 Idaho still be locally owned?
Yes. The studios will still be owed and operated by Brandy Mamizuka.

Will the teacher team remain in place?
Yes. All of the teachers who currently teach at EHY will continued to lead classes as Y6 instructors.

Will the classes on the schedule change?
The classes that we offer on the schedule will continue to be offered. As we have always done in the past, we will reduce the number of classes on the schedule for the summer months when both students and teachers are busy with summer vacations and travel. The summer schedule will be published soon. This is independent of the transition to Y6 brand.

Will the Sig Series be continued to be offered on the schedule?
Yes, we will continue to offer our signature series, sculpt, yin, hot vinyasa, warm candlelight and hot 26. New heated and non-heated, as well as beginner’s yoga classes will eventually be added to the schedule.

Can I continue to access all 5 studios?
Yes, if you have an active package that is not specific to Nampa.

Does this transition to Y6 means my price will increase?
No, not necessarily. As a Y6 student, you will have several package options available to you. We will be adding more classes to the schedule and more member perks so that you get the best value for your money. Some of you will pay less per month for yoga classes and some of you may opt to pay more for the additional member perks. You will know well in advance if/when any packages get discontinued and have the opportunity to purchase any old package before it is discontinued.

Will the Mindbody software continue to be used under the Y6 brand?
No, we will transition off of Mindbody and onto ClubReady. We will share more information on this transition over the next few days. All of your customer account and package information will be transferred from Mindbody into ClubReady. As with any major project, there will be some hiccups along the way. We will do our best to minimize the disruption and inconvenience to you.

I signed up for Yoga Teacher Training. How does this impact me?
There is no change to your status. You will go through the training program and will be eligible to teach for Y6 as you would under the EHY brand. We will continue to run our own teacher training program.
