Jessica started practicing yoga in 2002 to supplement fitness endeavors. Overtraining took a toll on her body and she turned to yoga for rehabilitation when doctors and traditional medicine failed. She delved deeper to expand her practice and realized the centering and strengthening powers of yogic lifestyle. Strengthening her body through asana encouraged empowerment in all aspects of her life. As a teacher, she loves to bring this feeling to her students and encourages exploration of correlating the work we do on the mat to lessons in life.
