After years of practicing yoga on and off as a way to supplement her track and field training Moira serendipitously found herself at Yoga Six at the beginning of 2015. She immediately felt at home and began to deepen her practice. What began as a great way to strengthen and lengthen her physical body slowly began to transform her on more fundamental level. In order to dive deeper and share the joy of yoga with others Moira completed her YTT-200 Hour training at Yoga Six in the summer of 2015. Off the mat, Moira enjoys getting creative in the kitchen as the coordinator of Campus Kitchens, a non-profit that repurposes potentially wasted food into meals for those dealing with food insecurity in our community. Whether it is through teaching yoga or cooking Moira has a passion for connecting with people and sharing the simple joys of life.
