My yoga journey started 20 years ago as a supplement to my martial arts training. I initially utilized the practice to increase balance and flexibility, but I quickly learned that the real benefits of yoga are observed off the mat.
My martial arts career eventually came to an end, but my yoga practice remained constant. I call on the principals of yoga not just to feel good in body but to navigate relationships, parenting, mental wellness, and work/life balance.
My intention as a teacher is to guide students to a deep love and respect for themselves and their bodies. I want to bring awareness to the intelligence of the body and the breath and nurture other yogis on their journey to self-discovery.
